Benalmádena Town
White Mediterranean Village
Benalmádena Pueblo is the historic heart of the municipality of Benalmádena and one of the most charming white villages on the Costa del Sol. Perched on a hill just a few kilometers from the sea, it preserves the essence of traditional Andalusian architecture with whitewashed houses, flower-filled balconies, and narrow streets that invite you to take a leisurely stroll.
This picturesque village combines history, culture, and spectacular scenery. From its viewpoints, you can enjoy sweeping views of the Mediterranean, while its squares and hidden corners maintain a peaceful and authentic atmosphere that contrasts with the lively coastal area of the municipality.
Among its most iconic sites are Plaza de España, home to the famous sculpture of the Niña de Benalmádena; the Church of Santo Domingo de Guzmán, situated on a viewpoint overlooking the sea; and the unique Castillo de Colomares, a monument dedicated to Christopher Columbus and the discovery of the Americas.
Benalmádena Pueblo is also known for its local cuisine, small artisan shops, and traditional festivals, which keep Andalusian customs alive and attract visitors year-round.
